How does Timed online work?


Bidding is open during two weeks. You can view and manage your bids on your Live bids page (logged-in). When you are outbid, our system also sends an email.

All lots close on the auction day.

Closing times 25 September:

12:00 CEST | range 1-999
13:00 CEST | 1000 range
14:00 CEST | 2000 range
15:00 CEST | 3000 range
16:00 CEST | 4000 range
17:00 CEST | 5000 range

Central European Summer Time | Amsterdam Time

All the lots in a range close simultaneously. Place your bids in time.

All lots in a series close as soon as the countdown clock hits 00:00:00. If there are (counter) bids in the last 10 minutes before closing, the lot will be extended by five minutes. Our online system sends an email to the active bidders. After a counter bid in extended time, five new minutes start.

Buyers costs

The buyer's premium for this auction is 28%.


Resale right

Resale right applies to works of art by living artists and artists who died less than 70 years ago if the transaction value -including commission- is 3000 euros or more.

In the event that resale right applies, we will charge this to the buyer. Resale right will be calculated afterwards and charged by a separate invoice. Up to 50,000 euros, the resale right is a percentage of 4%. For more information about resale right, please click here (NL only) or please contact our staff.

Collection with time slots only

Purchases can be collected from Monday 26 September during two weeks, up until Friday 7 October. To collect your purchases, you have to book a time slot on our website.

• It is not possible to collect purchases on the actual auction day.

• For collection you can pay by pin card. We do not accept credit cards.

From when can I book a time slot?

Booking will be available from Sunday evening 25 September. Booking a time slot is online only. We expect our website to be ready on Sunday evening around 19:30 hours, including a button for booking time slots. Once everything is ready, we will send and email to our bidders.

The delay is due to technical matters that need to be done first at the end of the auction day, such as waiting for the extensions and exporting the results to our administration system.

Collection days and times

There are time slots on Monday 26 September between 13:00 and 20:00 hours, and on working days (up until Friday 7 October) between 10:00 and 16:30 hours. Saturday 1 October is an extra collection day, with time slots between 09:30-16:30 hours. 

Shipping within The Netherlands

Do you wish shipping within The Netherlands? We can pack your items carefully and send them via Post NL (signed delivery, standard ensured up until 500 euro). Please email your shipping request to reception@utrechtauctions.com

For transport of larger items or furniture, please contact one of our transport partners below. Based on the lot numbers, they can provide you with a quote.
